Airport Loop Extended

The Airport loop offers an excellent ride south of town to the city of Merrill.  Start at Veterans Park and weave your way through city traffic for 2 miles before jumping off on the OC&E State Trail, a converted rails-to-trails project.  Cruise on the OC&E for 5 miles to Reeder Rd where you exit onto low traffic country roads.  The city of Merrill is 22 miles into the ride and offers a good place to grab a cold one!  Head back on Lower Klamath Road and you’ll see even fewer cars until you reach civilization again about 5 miles from town.

Spotlighting Klamath Falls’ Burgeoning Craft Beer Scene

Ty Kliewer, co-owner at Skyline Brewing Company in Klamath Falls, remembers feeling unsure about how his nascent brewery—the city’s third—would be received when it launched in May 2018. When he got the last of his licenses approved before opening, Kliewer had all of two accounts lined up to sell Skyline’s ales around town.
