Rev things up in the Klamath Basin and hit the trails on your snowmobile. During the snow season the Klamath Basin Snowdrifters, a local snowmobile club, volunteer members groom and maintain many miles of designated trails, keeping them safe for all riders. Depending on what type of experience you’re looking for, snowmobiles are easy to rent and easy to use, and there are guided tours for first-timers. With more than 360 miles of groomed trails and hundreds of miles of backcountry and ungroomed snowmobiling trails the Klamath Basin is a top Southern Oregon snowmobiling destination!

Great Meadow Sno-Park
You can find over 165 miles of groomed trail for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing at the Great Meadows Sno-Park located on Hwy 140.
Annie Creek Sno-Park
Near the southern Crater Lake National Park boundary, Annie Creek Sno-Park offers riders miles and miles of trails, a log-style warming shelter with a wood stove and benches, and two vaulted toilets.
Pelican Butte
At 8,036 ft., Pelican Butte’s peak dominates over Klamath County. There is a trail from the base to the top allowing for great climbing, boon docking, winding through the trees and leisurely riding. From the summit, no matter which direction you look, you’ll have spectacular scenery: Crater Lake National Park, Upper Klamath Lake, Chiloquin Ridge, Mountain Lakes Wilderness, Lake of the Woods, Mt. McLaughlin and Mt. Shasta. The powder can be deep and challenging. It’s definitely worth the climb!
Crater Lake National Park
Snowmobile use is permitted at Crater Lake National Park on the North Entrance Road from the park boundary to North Junction, where the entrance road meets Rim Drive. Snowmobile use is limited to the unplowed roadway. The Crater Lake area is beautiful during the winter, but it can also be hazardous. Walt Haring Sno-Park
Located near Chemult, Walt Haring offers multiple snowmobile and Nordic ski trails. The trailhead sits on the eastern edge of the Cascade Range. It’s a lively ride on your snowmobile to pristine Miller Lake, just 12 miles from the Sno-Park. The snowmobile trail clearly connects to a larger network of trails.

If you’re a thrill-seeker and want to get out and see a winter paradise, come and enjoy the winter fun at Odell Lake Resort! Odell Lake Lodge & Resort is the perfect winter getaway for snowmobilers. Access trails from the Lodge and ride all the way to the Crater Lake rim. The scenery along the way is truly exhilarating! Rentals are available for individual rental or as a guided tour.
