East County Region

The east portion of Klamath County is well known for its western culture.  Home to picturesque rustic campsites, Oregon’s longest linear State Park, and easy access to both BLM and Forest Service Lands.  While visiting he friendly communities of the east you will experience abounds of agriculture home to working farms, dairies, ranches, and even a ranch-turned-winery!  Western themed general stores, saloons, and turn of the century jail houses are some of the relics you may experience when visiting Klamath East County.  You can hike a trail, cast a line, dip a paddle, picnic, build a campfire, visit historic WWII sites, mountain wilderness areas, and nature preserves or enjoy the Annual Cook-Off Celebration.
